Such a great song, and I can hear that it comes from the heart, except that it makes God sound vengeful. God is all loving ....the laws may be working but the laws were in place before God let us in the garden....now we have to bring the garden back to life. God expects us to Love Him/Her, ourselves and our neighbors. He expects us to walk in Truth and Humility. The vengeful god, is a whole other entity from the old testament. Revelation is a book to begin working on the soul but the projection of others and the quantum physics will certainly bring much to pass. Dig deep...go within and ask lots of questions. The teachers will come! Love to all!

Love this song and John Rich’s courage to release it. Since you are seeking independent “country” artists, I’ll suggest a few that you may not have discovered yet. My Breed and Jesse Howard are part of Outlaw Nation, an independent label. Some songs to start out with are “Welcome to My House”, “Under My Roof”, and “The Little Boy and the Preacher”. Another independent group who actually started their own label is country acapella group Home Free. “Man of Constant Sorrow” is where most people start, but they have a couple hundred songs to choose from. On March 26th 2022, just past midnight, I was restless in bed, my limbs became numb & tingly, my chest became tight, & my heart felt like it was being crushed.
